Terms of Use

Terms of use for LoanMath — free browser-based loan calculators, acceptable use rules, and liability limits.

Simple rules for a simple tool — read them in about a minute

By accessing or using LoanMath, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Service nature

LoanMath provides free, browser-based calculators for loan math. The tools are provided for information and education only. They are not loan origination services, credit decisions, or offers of credit, and they do not create a borrower-lender relationship with you.

No professional advice

The calculators perform standard mathematical formulas on the numbers you enter. Output is an estimate, not professional financial, legal or tax advice. See the Disclaimer page for details. Always confirm figures with your lender and consult a qualified professional for decisions.

Permitted use

You may use the tools for personal, non-commercial purposes and may share results. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive volume, reverse-engineer or misuse any part of it, or use it to mislead others.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the calculators accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that results are free of error. The site may be updated, changed or taken down at any time.

Examples and estimates

Every page includes worked examples and typical rate ranges. These are illustrative: your actual rate, term and fees depend on your credit profile, the lender and the market, and they change over time. Never treat a typical figure in an example as a binding offer.

Third-party links and advertising

The site may display third-party advertising. Those advertisers operate under their own privacy policies and terms, which are outside our control. The calculators themselves contain no affiliate links and are never modified by advertising.

Intellectual property

The site design, branding and text are the property of the site owner. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the site for commercial purposes without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoanMath and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its output.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the site operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms. Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page.
